Off-Site Professional Alarm Monitoring Service
Professional Industry Certifications
CRC Central Station Operators are certified through the Security Industry Association’s (SIA) training and development program. CRC has received UL certification for architectural and physical features, as well as emergency power, computer hardware and software, and operator training, and the Installation Quality (IQ) certification for data entry and dispatching procedures. The Underwriters Laboratory (UL) certification for medical alarm monitoring services ensures medical alert subscribers and senior living communities that the service has a rapid response time, its operators are thoroughly trained, it maintains a high level of staffing at all times, and it power and information technology-related systems are completely redundant. UL serves as a third-party verification entity, verifying that the monitoring company meets UL's nationally recognized standards (UL827 and UL1981).
Support for All Major Signal Formats
CRC utilizes OH 2000 digital alarm receivers and DMP SCS-1R IP enabled alarm receivers for broad-based signaling support capabilities. Major alarm system formats supported include Lifeline Systems, March Networks (4+2; 4+2+6), SIA, Contact ID, Ademco, Silent Knight, Sescoa, Acron, and Radionics, among others.
State-of-the-Art Technology and Systems Redundancy
High technology systems are the backbone of CRC’s central station. The automation system/software is BOLD Manitou, which is a UL approved and completely redundant system. Dealer features include web access and e-mail or fax report communication. Local telephone service is provided by Qwest, and long distance and toll free service are provided by AT&T, which features a self-healing network. The telephone system includes mirrored drives. All information technology and telecommunications systems operate on uninterruptible power supply and backup diesel power generation.
